THE BRAND CELEBRATES AUTUMN DELIGHTS

Laid tables, seasonal flavours, ancient celebrations and traditional products, all in one of the most evocative areas of the Veneto: the Marca Trevigiana. These are the ingredients that, since 2007, have made the success of Delizie d'Autunno , the food and wine event organized by Unpli Treviso.

A tasty and fascinating journey through the products and colors of the autumn season, created to enhance delicacies and culinary traditions to be preserved.

An itinerary which, from 30 August to 1 December 2024 , will be punctuated by 24 exhibitions curated by the local Pro Loco which will allow you to discover and taste some of the delights of the Treviso area: the tasty Malga cheeses , the Monfumo apples , the fruit of a recovery project of ancient varieties recognized as a Slow Food presidium, Montello mushrooms, PGI chestnuts from Combai and Monfenera, the Borlotto Nano bean from Levada, without forgetting the great traditional peasant dishes such as Tripe from Tovena , the picturesque village of Cison of Valmarino, or the Giant Spiedo of Pieve di Soligo , the result of hours of cooking by the menarosti graduated from the local Confraternity.

The plain responds to the flavors of the Treviso hills with festivals dedicated to polenta , stews and musso ragù, peppers, pumpkin and grapes . There will be no shortage of excellent wine production from the Treviso hills and the precious extra virgin oil produced along the slopes of Asolo.

A true "gastronomic deposit" that the Autumn Delicacies Exhibitions allow us to discover thanks to the commitment of the Pro Loco and local producers, who have allowed the recovery of niche productions that were now disappearing, thus supporting agricultural biodiversity .

And to further enhance these ancient flavours, Unpli Treviso and the promoting Pro Loco have created the Autumn Delights Recipe Book (downloadable from the event website), a collection that celebrates healthy and genuine cuisine, closely linked to the seasonal products of the land. Many proposals that combine goodness and imagination , dedicated to those who, by preparing some of the dishes described in the book, want to discover not only almost forgotten flavors and aromas, but also the work and passion that lie behind each product presented. A project that contributes to expanding the gallery of flavors represented by the Autumn Delights exhibition, which promotes and celebrates the many typical products and ancient local traditions, a true heritage to be safeguarded and preserved.

Autumn Delights, in fact, also has the merit of showcasing the ancient rituals and traditions of the past , reviving the celebrations linked to the land that marked peasant life: the threshing festival, the celebration of San Martino and the festivals linked to the Rosary are just a few examples.

Finally, like every year, the Autumn Delights program will also feature a full calendar of nature excursions, walks and themed evenings alongside the exhibitions, unmissable opportunities to discover a magnificent area when it is cloaked in warm autumn colours.
