The Federation of Italian Chefs is present during the three days of the event and on Monday the 18th the Cuochi della Mole , the Turin team of the national association, were the protagonists, from 10am to 6pm with a series of meetings and show cooking to promote the local area and everything it reports to "vegetable" in the kitchen.
The events organized during the day saw, among others, speeches by the mayor of Cavour, Sergio Paschetta , on Tuttomele, by Roberto Ghio , mayor of Santena and president of the Association for the protection of Santena asparagus, by Cinzia Maria Bosso , mayor of Orbassano, on red celery, of that of Carmagnola, Ivana Gaveglio , to present the National Pepper Fair and Rossana Turina to talk about "From vegetables to tourism in the area".
After the collaboration established last year during the Carmagnola National Pepper Fair with the Cuochi della Mole , Confagricoltura Torino was involved in the event for the supply of products during the 4.00 pm show cooking with the Lady Chefs, on the theme of waste in the kitchen. The recipe called for the creation of a risotto with aromatic herbs. The Carnaroli rice and the cheese for creaming were from associates of Confagricoltura Torino : Pochettino's Tenuta Cimena and Maria Cristina Robba's Corbusier . Furthermore, Erbaluce di Caluso Docg Fiordighiaccio from the Cantina Protutti Erbaluce di Caluso was used to blend.
Furthermore, all the day's meetings were moderated and conducted by Alessandro Felis , director of communications and Cronache dell'Agricoltura of Confagricoltura Torino .
Tommaso Visca , president of Confagricoltura Torino , hopes for “ increasingly close collaborations between the farmers who produce and the chefs who transform their products. Two categories that must speak to each other directly . “ The director, Maria Luisa Cerale adds “ it is essential to reach catering operators directly with our excellent products, they must become ambassadors of the primary sector and its operators .”
