All the Beauty and the Good of Modena will be on stage next Saturday, 7 October , in Castelfranco Emilia , with the autumn edition of Gusti.a.Mo23, the event organized by Piacere Modena and sponsored by the Emilia Romagna Region, the Municipality of Castelfranco Emilia, by the Province of Modena and the Modena Chamber of Commerce. A day that promises to be extraordinary, dedicated to the role of food in society but above all to the food and wine and cultural excellence of Modena. The presentation to the press was held this morning in the Gabriella Degli Esposti Hall of the Municipal Library in Castelfranco Emilia, in the presence of the President of Piacere Modena Enrico Corsini, the Mayor of Castelfranco Emilia Giovanni Gargano, the President of the Modena Chamber of Commerce Giuseppe Molinari, of the President of the La San Nicola di Castelfranco Emilia Association Giovanni Degli Angeli and of the President of the Modena a Tavola Consortium Stefano Corghi. “With the autumn edition of Gusti.a.Mo23 – stated the President of Piacere Modena Enrico Corsini – we want to bring attention back to food as an experience for the final consumer. Once again, in fact, we have chosen to build a program that would make every visitor the first person protagonist of a unique tasting experience as much as possible. And, above all, we thought about how to approach and involve the consumers of the future, organizing a series of activities dedicated to younger people who will be able to learn by playing and having fun." "The day's program perfectly combines two fundamental elements for the City of Castelfranco Emilia, gastronomic excellence and the culture that lies within an identity element of our territory such as tortellino, - comments the Mayor of Castelfranco Emilia Giovanni Gargano - which represents symbolically a truly inclusive embrace of all the other food and wine excellences of Emilia Romagna. Therefore, on Saturday 7 October in Castelfranco Emilia "Taste is on stage in the heart of the Via Emilia", with a rich proposal of taste and art activities and workshops for families. We start in the morning with the theatrical tastings of the DOP and IGP products of Modena organized by Koiné (from 10 to 12), with which you can immerse yourself in the authentic flavors of the products made in Modena, and continue with the laboratory and final tasting of the Traditional Tortellino of Castelfranco Emilia (from 12pm to 3pm) organized by the Maestre Sfogline Association of Castelfranco Emilia and the La San Nicola Association of Castelfranco. Ample space will be dedicated to the youngest; in particular, for children aged 3 to 11 years there is the Sensory Laboratory "Come in a dream" (at 3.30 pm), organized by Lumaca Soc. Coop. Social , to explore the Modena countryside through evocative sounds, objects from the past and tasty tastings, retracing the natural rhythm of the seasons in the Po Valley. For older children, from 4pm, the ISS Spallanzani will transform the local culinary tradition into a creative laboratory for future generations of chefs, called to get their hands on the dough and experiment with the art of cooking.
