Many activities in Piazza Roma to accompany the consumer and the tourist towards a new perception of food. For the first time, Gusti.a.Mo will also host the Palio del Parmigiano and there will be the possibility of making a donation in favor of the territories and populations affected by the flood in Emilia-Romagna.

Gusti.a.Mo23 doubles and arrives on Saturday 27 May with an exclusive edition that anticipates the summer tourist season and offers visitors a new way of perceiving food, through the five senses. An edition that does not replace but rather strengthens the traditional October edition, effectively opening the doors to wine tourism, an increasingly popular formula for tourists to discover the excellence of the area through art and food and wine. Organized by Piacere Modena with the patronage of the Municipality of Modena, the Emilia Romagna Region, the Emilia-Romagna Region Tourist Promotion Agency and the Modena Chamber of Commerce, Gusti.a.Mo23 will have as its guiding principle that of food education using all five senses to taste - letting yourself be guided by the evocation of sounds, scents and flavors - as well as spreading the culture and traditions of Modena through real taste experiences. These experiences, all free, call for interactive participation in the square events, scheduled throughout the day of Saturday 27 May in Piazza Roma, in the heart of the historic city centre. The event also becomes "Gusti.a.Mo for Romagna - all the beauty and the good of a donation" with a station in the square where citizens and tourists can make a donation to the Agency for territorial security and protection civil society of Emilia-Romagna in favor of the populations affected by the recent flood . In fact, it starts with the possibility of taking part in the theatrical tastings of the DOP and IGP products of Modena organized by Koiné starting at 10, preceded by the Palio di Gustia.Mo23 of Parmigiano Reggiano at 9 and 15, tasting and voting the best cheese from the high and low plains of Modena. At 12 there will be a workshop with tasting of the Traditional Tortellino of Castelfranco Emilia by the Maestre Sfogline Association and the La San Nicola Association , both from Castelfranco Emilia; while for the little ones from 3 to 11 years of age, the sensory laboratory The most delicious taste of the Duchy is scheduled - at the same time -, a challenge between local products to elect the best taste of the city of Modena. In the afternoon, at 4.15 pm, “ His Majesty the sandwich according to Daniele Reponi… or according to you? ”, an interactive activity in which visitors will be able to build together with the “non-chef” the sandwich with the best combination of Modenese DOP and IGP products. At 5.15 pm the award ceremony of the first edition of the Palio di Gustia.Mo of Parmigiano Reggiano, while at 6.00 pm the closing with great effect with " E Ri-salute me your brother, music, stories and tastings from Emilia-Romagna" by Andrea Barbi and Marco Ligabue , ambassadors of the 44 PDO and PGI excellences of the Emilia Romagna Region.
