Gradis'ciutta, a winery for the production of organic wines in the heart of Collio, as part of the Jazz & Wine of Peace festival organized by Controtempo, is pleased to host the presentation of the book "Esercizi spirituali per bevitori di vino" by Angelo Peretti which will take place on Saturday 26 October 2024 at Borgo Gradis'ciutta . The winery in San Floriano del Collio is proud to host an event that celebrates wine in its many dimensions, thus transforming Gradis'ciutta into a stage for culture, music and reflection. In this encounter between the literature of Angelo Peretti, the refined music of the Jazz&Taste duo and the charm of a place deeply rooted in the territory, wine becomes an all-round protagonist, capable of evoking emotions and meanings that go beyond simple tasting. " For us, wine is much more than a product: it is an expression of our identity, a deep bond with the land and the people who live there. Hosting an event like this, where culture and conviviality intertwine, fully represents our vision of wine as an experience that involves all the senses, " says Robert Princic , owner of the Gradis'ciutta winery. " We are happy to be able to share our passion and our work with those who, like us, believe that wine is a gateway to emotions, reflections and moments of pure beauty and sharing ." From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. , the public will be led on a journey through the pages of the author, who with this volume offers a profound and emotional reflection on the act of drinking wine, considered not only as a sensory experience, but also as an intellectual and spiritual one. Gabriele Giuga, a journalist for Messaggero Veneto and a profound connoisseur of the food and wine sector, will be in conversation with the author. The book is not just a guide, but a set of “exercises” that mix narrative, poetry, anecdotes and advice on 180 wines, offering the reader an engaging experience full of food for thought. Before the presentation, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm , the public will be able to immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere created by the Jazz&Taste duo, with Paolo Peruzzi on the vibraphone and Luca Zennaro on the guitar. Their delicate and brilliant musical interweaving will be the perfect prelude to the literary conversation, creating an ideal bridge between the art of wine and jazz music. To conclude in style, at 6:30 pm at the San Floriano del Collio winery there will be a concert by the Joe Hertenstein Trio, with Ray Anderson, for an evening of top-level jazz music. Among the musical notes that will blend with the scent of wines and the pages of Angelo Peretti's book, Gradis'ciutta confirms itself as a winery that not only produces excellence, but also knows how to tell and share it, offering its guests an unforgettable experience, capable of leaving a deep mark on the soul of those who experience it.
