A white wine that is elegant and of high quality. Organoleptic Characteristics: The Vintage Tunina wine has bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. It has a strong, large, very elegant and persistent aroma, with hints of honey and wildflowers. In the mouth it is dry, soft, very balanced, with exceptional persistence due to its particularly full body. Historical-cultural information and curiosities: The name refers to Tunina Antonia (in dialect Tunina), the old owner of the land where once the original vineyard stood. The Jermann company was founded in the nineteenth century thanks to Antonio Jermann, an Austrian who moved to Villanova di Farra, in Friuli. The creation of Vintage Tunina is instead merit of the great-grandson of Antonio, Silvio, who after graduating at the wine school of Conegliano and a period of study in Canada, returned to Friuli with a new way of conceiving wine. The wine should not be alcoholic and insipid, but aromatic, modern, eclectic, full of personality. It is from this ideas that Vintage Tunina arises, harvested in 1973 and marketed for the first time in 1975. Serving suggestions: Dishes based on fish.
