The ancient Roman city of Luni gives the name to this wine. In these places, in ancient times, the Romans came into contact with the Celtic populations, from which they learned the techniques for distilling the liquor. The Vermentino vine variety, native of the Iberian Peninsula, has found in the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian reas a particularly fertile soils for its growing. The flavour and aroma of this white wine reminds the salty of the sea and the smell of the woods all around. Delicious!
