The vine variety Lison or Tocai Italico or Tocai Friulano is a variety grown in Veneto and Friuli since 1700. Dalmasso, a scholar, named it Tocai in 1933, and recent studies have identified as Sauvignonasse, old vine variety of Bordeaux where is now disappeared. Whenever or not from French origin, representing the place where the vine grew, creating strong links with the Terroir.
