Organoleptic characteristics: The Teroldego Rotaliano has a very intense ruby red color, sometimes with purple glares. It has a characteristic, fruity, particularly intense aroma. In the mouth it is dry, fruity, slightly bitter, with a slight almond taste and a slightly tannic body. Historical-cultural tips and curiosities: In Trentino grape cultivation dates back to ancient times (the most numerous testimonies date back to the Bronze Age). The first mention of the Teroldego grape variety dates back to the fifteenth century, while the production of the wine with this grape variety seems to date back to 1600. The addition of the geographical name "Rotaliano" is a recent choice that has the aim of diversifying the original product from similar ones. Serving suggestions: Elaborated main courses, dishes of red meat, grilled or roasted, and mature cheese.
