In the mouth is full, dry, robust but velvety, warm and harmonious. Historical-cultural infos and curiosities: The fame and the excellence of this wine is due to the "Leone de Castris" Company, by Senator Arcangelo de Castris. The Salice Salentino wine also exists in the rosé, white, Pinot white and Aleatico types. Serving suggestions: It is excellent served with red and white meat (especially pork), grilled or roasted, dishes of vegetables and risotto. Excellent with middle-aged cheese. Production area: Part of the territories in the provinces of Lecce and Brindisi. Grape varieties allowed for its production: Negroamaro grape variety. To produce this wine, the grapes of Malvasia Nera di Lecce and Malvasia Nera di Brindisi, present in the vineyards, can contribute alone or in combination, up to a maximum of 20%.
