He was so enthusiastic that paid homage to this wine in his opera Don Giovanni with the verse: "Versa il vino, eccellente Marzemino!". Serving suggestions: It is excellent with typical regional dishes, excellent with polenta and mushrooms; it goes well with regional mature cheese. Production area: Vallagarina, the territory that extends from the southern border of Trento to the southern border of the province of Trento. Grape varieties allowed for its production: Marzemino (minimum 85%). Black berry grape varieties belonging to the "Trentino" denomination (with the exception of Moscato Rosa e Giallo and Gewürztraminer) can contribute to the production for maximum 15%.
