Description of the wine: This wine represents a different interpretation from the typical character of Tuscan wines. A versatile wine, to be consumed throughout the meal, but characteristic. Organoleptic characteristics: The Collepino wine has intense ruby red color, fresh and fruity aroma with hints of black currant, plum and raspberry. In the mouth it is soft, with sweet tannins. Serving suggestions: Served with main courses and red and white meats. Production area: Tuscany. Production techniques: The vinification of the grapes takes place in stainless steel tanks for a week at a controlled temperature. After alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation follows and, and at the end of these processes, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for a period of two months. Vines that are allowed to produce it: Sangiovese (50%) and Merlot (50%).
