Organoleptic characteristics:
The Costa d'Amalfi Bianco wine has a pale straw yellow color, more or less intense, a delicate and pleasant taste and a dry, full-bodied, harmonious taste. The Rosso version, instead, has more or less intense ruby red color, vinous aroma, while its taste is dry, medium-bodied, rightly tannic.
Historical-cultural information and curiosities:
Viticulture was present in Roman times where woods gave way to vineyards, which, together with citrus trees, prevailed in the cultivations.
Serving suggestions:
The white type is excellent with first courses based on fish and soft cheese. The red type, instead, is served with sausages, salami and red meats.

Grape varieties allowed for its production:
For the Costa d'Amalfi Bianco are required: grapes of the Falanghina and/or Biancolella varieties for a minimum of 40%, as well as grapes from white berry varieties suitable for cultivation in the province of Salerno.
For Rosso and Rosé, on the contrary, are required: Piedirosso for a minimum of 40%, Sciascinoso and/or '
Aglianico, jointly or separately, up to 60%, and grapes from black berry varieties suitable for cultivation in the province of Salerno.
