Malbec

Malbec is a red grape grown mostly in the South–West of France. It is also cultivated in many parts of the New World, including Argentina and Chile. Small plants are also found in California for the Meritage. From Malbec a coloured, full–bodied, tannic wine with an aroma of cassis, mint, pepper and cedar wood is obtained. It can be combined well with stews of lamb, beef or wild boar.
