One of the most ancient wine auctions for charity in the world (1851), it is for the benefit of the Hôtel Dieu hospital and is held during the famous celebration of the end of the harvest of the "Trois Glorieuses" (the Three Days of Glory), every year on the third weekend of November. Very important is the fact the bar serves as a reference point for the annual evaluation of the quality of Burgundy and plays a significant role in determining the price at which each harvest is sold.
