French word derived from the Latin gloomy, a cup that identifies the content of a vat or tank of wine. However it is much more commonly used to indicate a particular combination or mixture of wine (which can fill several vats or tanks). Technically, therefore, with cuvée we mean the art to choose and then to concentrate in a single "container", or into a single result, the specificities detected in different components, with the objective of reaching a final quality that is superior to the sum of its parts.
